We focused on simplicity, proportion, and long-term practicality. A tall, black geometric planter acts as the visual anchor, adding height and sophistication. Surrounding it, natural feature boulders, smooth river stones, and a clean rectangle of zero-maintenance artificial turf create an organized, high-contrast composition.
Every element stands out without competing for attention, replacing harsh concrete with a quiet sense of welcome.

Modern Tropical Side Yard Design: Spacious, Layered, and Low Maintenance.
At Ecoscape Design & Concept, we believe exceptional landscape design is about creating spaces where life happens. For this residence in Temasya Cinta, Shah Alam, the goal was to deliver the lush, relaxing atmosphere of a tropical rainforest while maintaining an open, flexible area capable of hosting large family gatherings.
Instead of overcrowding the side yard, we deliberately organized the landscape around a generous, uninterrupted central lawn. This green expanse serves as an outdoor living room for recreation and relaxation.
Along the perimeter wall, we created a layered tropical border: tall slender palms, textured broad-leaved shrubs,
and low groundcovers form a rich backdrop without sacrificing function.
Pebble wash stepping stones and staggered natural stone stepping stones guide movement seamlessly while softening transitions. This balanced garden beautifully bridges structured modern living with the vibrant freedom of nature.
